Thanks for the feedback. I have started work on the next version of the game, but I have no idea when it will be finished.

It is a very large file, I'm not 100% sure why but I assumed it was mainly the background image, ie. the city (roads, buildings, paths, etc). I did it a stupid way by creating the whole city as 1 big image and importing it into Game Maker. Next time, I'll just create a tile set. Reducing file size and loading times will be my main priority for the next game.

I agree with your point about the glitches. They can be annoying, in particular, the way cars can get stuck on things. (Holding accelerate/up arrow and continuing to turn will free you from buildings you may get stuck on). I actually just used somebody else's script to allow cars to scrape along walls without coming to an immediate stop as soon as contact is made between a house, for example, and the car. Unfortunately, the script wasn't perfect, thus making lots of bugs. Next time I'll try and write that part of the code myself.

The player can't run because I'm stupid and forgot to put that feature in. :)

You're right, both cities are quite small, but at least you can't get lost. ;)

You get money by completing missions, which brings another point. The missions are apparently extremely difficult. I didn't find them too hard, but people who hadn't had hundreds of hours practice in the game found them impossible. Good luck with them if you decide to play through the game.

The game changes the resolution of the monitor when it launches. I don't know why this causes your desktop background to disappear. Certainly a strange bug. When the game exits, everything should revert to the way it was. It would seem like the game isn't closing properly. I don't know what to suggest for this one. The resolution can be restored, in XP, by right clicking the desktop, going to properties and then settings (I think). Not sure about Vista or 7 though.

I guess Cidaz City 3 just needs a lot more testing before I release the game. Thanks for actually giving Cidaz City 2 a go, though. I really appreciate the feedback.

Hello I'm Magma24 from Yoyo Games, I tried out this game, here's what I think of it:

-VERY big file size, took maybe a whole four to five minutes just to load, you should have programmed this better, like make it so that you load external files
-Very professional intro!
Felt like I wasn't playing a GM game :D
-Glitches were annoying, but not too annoying, could be overlooked :)
-Why can't the player run?
-The first city is quite smaller than what I expected for such a big exe file size, seem the video and sounds take up most of the memory
-Where can I get money from?
-When I exited the game, my desktop background was gone and the icons on the desktop changed, any idea of how this might have happened? Did this happen to you? I actually had to restart to fix this.

Still yet to try the missions and such, since the above error when I exited the game caused me some concern......

Overall, great game but could me much better if you loaded external resources and fixed some bugs, hope you make Cidaz City 3!
