If you’re a Mac user, you probably have lots of little windows scattered all over your desktop. But, what if you want one particular window to stay on top? Usually, it would simply get buried under layers of windows unless you use a nice little (and free) Mac app called Afloat.

Afloat allows you to keep certain windows above anything else on your desktop, lets you add transparency to windows and adds a few nice features that switchers from Windows to OS X will appreciate. These include being able to move and resize a window from anywhere around the edge, rather than just the title bar and the bottom right hand corner.
