Update and Mic Stand Unboxing/Review

Pros:
Cheap
Does its job

Cons:
Quite light and could probably tip over easily

Rating: 5/5

If you’ve ever visited my live stream when I wasn’t there, you’ll know that there isn’t much to see, especially during the night because it’s too dark to see anything at all! My desk, on the other hand, is quite well lit up in the dark, and is a bit more interesting than a wall. So, I’m going to start using an EyeToy, facing my desk, to stream with when I’m not there.

When I came up with the idea though, I had a problem. There was nowhere to put the webcam. Therefore, I bought a Microphone Stand from Amazon. It was £13 holds a microphone above my keyboard, and they EyeToy a couple of meters from my desk.

I’ve been using the stand for a while now and, for under £15, is really quite good. It’s relatively strong, stand upright, looks reasonable (nothing special but what do you expect from a mic stand?), is light and is incredibly easy to put up and adjust.

If you need a microphone stand, why not buy this one and support jak-e.com at the same time?
