Managing Your Online Identity
I’m guessing you’ve signed up to a few websites in the past. If you have, then you’ll probably have some online profile pages. If you’ve got a YouTube account, you might have some information about yourself on your channel, for example. But, how do you manage all of these profiles and which one do you tell people about?
Chi.mp is a website that gives you your own personal .mp domain name and a mini website about yourself to put on it. CHIMP stands for Content Hub and Identity Management Platform. Basically, you create a website there about yourself, link to your other profiles like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and tell people to visit it. Simple.
It’s currently in private beta but I do happen to have some invites. So, if you want to try it out now, leave a comment on this blog post or visit the YouTube page for this video and leave a comment there. I’ll pick people to give invites to when I upload a new video (that’ll be when this one gets 500 views).
