Mac Mini

After considering it for one whole year, I finally decided to buy a Mac Mini. I ordered one from PC World Business yesterday for £400 (about $800) and I’m expecting to get it in the next three days. I bought the cheaper model Mac Mini. It has a 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (CPU), 1GB of memory (RAM) and a combo drive (reads/writes to CDs but only reads from DVDs). And yes, before you mention it, you can get them for $500. Unfortunately, you cannot in the UK. £400 was the lowest price I could find one for.

There will never be a ‘right time’ to buy a computer as, whenever you make the move, there will always be a better, and probably cheaper, model out a few months later. When you see one you want, you just have to find the money and take the plunge, hoping that you made the right choice. Also, if you are going to purchase a PC, then reading reviews on various websites is a MUST. This will ensure that you are buying a computer that does what it’s supposed to do – i.e. the TV tuner which is built in actually allows you to watch the TV, unlike mine which only tunes into one channel and still does a poor job of it.

I will give more information once I actually get the Mac Mini however I will not be able to make a video until I have it set up and running because it is going in a room that currently does not have any computers.
