I have recently updated by site, jak-e.com, as I have changed the design slightly. If you have a large monitor or a wide screen monitor, then your more likely to notice the change more than those with a smaller screen. The new design looks the same apart from the new navigation column at the left hand side. The only main difference is that the main part gets bigger as the size of the windows increases horizontally. The new design still, however, leaves a gap at each side of the main table unless of course you make the windows so small that there is not room left. The design allows the screen resolution to go down to about 800 by 600 pixels before a horizontal scroll bar appears.

The other main change I have made makes the website more compatible with the latest browsers. The page now relys on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to display correctly. Unfortunately, due to some differences between MSIE (Microsoft Internet Explorer) and most other browsers. the main part of jak-e.com does now not sit in the middle of the page. Internet Explorer is the only browser I have found that does not work in the way that allows the table in the webpage to positioned in the center of the browser window. One of many reasons why I use Flock. A browser built on Firefox designed for social networking.

Other new features include the improved navigation, now along the top and down the side and the search bar in the top right hand corner of the page. This allows you to search jak-e.com and the jak-e.com tech blog, right from within the website.
